SEO not a mystery
It’s very simple really. Get tons of quality websites to list your URL then the traffic will flow because everyone can now find you.
Well let’s face it, not everyone wants to pay hundreds of $$$ or £££ to a slick professional SEO company who has steadily built links and done deals with other big companies so as soon as they place your URL in their SEO link building robot, hey presto, your Google rank shoots up.
Apparently there are other ways to address the “Getting Ranked” issue but, they take time and dedication. You are simply going to have to trawl the internet for websites that offer to scan your site for free and will then list you. There are quite a few of these but, they take a while to find and then register with. A trick I used was to follow a key site I know of, that belongs to someone who works for a venture capital company. They specialise in SEO and business marketing. I then attempted to register with these sites and after two or three days, my Alexa ranking drastically improved. However, it is now steadily slipping again which clearly indicates that you have to keep on top of it all by constantly finding new sites to get listed with. The big SEO companies will always have the advantage because they have automated systems that crawl the internet for places to list and new methods to keep people watching. You can do similar things but you have to know what works and that is going to take time and dedication. Trial and error is your only way through.
If you listen to the marketing gurus, they will tell you to make a video that advertizes your site and services but, not everyone is good at this sort of thing. It’s worth a shot though, it doesn’t cost anything but your time to post a video to YouTube. Well I’ve got to go now but I’ll be adding to this post so keep watching.
Performance Improvement
The performances are getting better despite the humiliation of losing to Forest. It’s a better start than last season and that’s all anyone can ask at this time. Let’s hope we can stuff Forest in the return fixture. Hopefully by then we reach a rich vein of form and stick five past them.
Nigel Clough is doing a good job and we all need to keep cheering on the Rams. There will be set backs and the odd annoying result, like this one, but lets keep positive and I’m sure everything will keep improving.
Wakey, wakey

Early days but, come on guys, two half baked performances are NOT acceptable.
I don’t think this is NC’s fault, it’s fairly typical of players these days. Unless it’s a high profile Premiership club, the squad tend to be a little half baked until the manager starts kicking back-sides. Losses to a lower league club and a newly promoted club are just embarrassing. Much better performance against Blackpool and I’m sure that when the key front players return to action, we’ll see some distinct improvement up front. According to Robby Savage, the players agreed to forgo their bonuses unless they finished in the top six. I get the feeling that the bonuses don’t mean much to them.
It will take time to build a good squad of players that feel they can achieve something. Until then we’ll have to be patient. Determination and enthusiasm require great motivation and until the squad start believing, we’re going to see many more good and bad mixed performances.
